Editing Pages

How to edit or delete an existing page:

1. Select the favoured page from the page structure view.
2. Choose "Properties" from the "Edit" menu. Alternative: right click on the page.
3. The properties window lets you make diverse settings, e.g. changing of the page name, setting the pages visibility in the navigation menu, etc.

To delete a page select it from the page structure view. Make sure that the page is marked (colour-coded blue).Then go to the red cross item on top of the toolbar. A consent prompt, which has to be confirmed, appears.
Important: There is no "undo" function! So all changes are final. There is no option to restore deleted elements. Therefore be cautious when deleting elements and make use of the possibilty to backup your project (menu "Website" | "Configure backup").

Inserting a new page:

1. From the page structure view select the page underneath which you want to insert a new page.
2. Choose "Insert new page..." from the "Insert" menu.
3. Insert the page name into the appearing dialog box and confirm with "OK".
4. The page comes in sight of the page structure view. Whereas automatically a referring hyperlink is inserted on the website. Now you can enter text on this page by inserting a new article in the right window section "Edit: Standard".

Texts and Images

How to insert texts and images into a page:

1. From the page structure view select the page into which you want to insert a text or image. 
2. Choose the favoured area from the area view (right window section).
   Important: It is not possible to edit if the internal preview is activated. To enter text into the main content area of the page choose "Edit: Standard". To enter text into the news area choose "Edit: News". 
3. Go to menu "Insert" and select "Insert new article...".
4. Specify the article style in the appearing dialog box. Choose "Default" and confirm with "OK".
5. In the following dialog box fill in the fields "Name" and "Text".
6. To add an image click on the image button beneath field Image. Now in the integrated image management you can select or import images (menu "Edit"). Confirm with "OK".
7. To set the image position go to tab "Extended" and choose under "View" from the listed positions.
8. Confirm with "OK".
9. To get a preview of your text choose either the tab "Preview" in the area view or "Show this page in local browser" under menu "Preview".

How to edit and delete existing articles:

1. Select the wanted article from the right section of the main window.
2. Choose "Properties" under menu "Edit".
3. Now in the edit article window you can alter text, name (=headline), image, etc.
4. Go to tab "Extended" to change the view (provided that the applied article has several views behind) or to make the article unvisible (check marked option field "Show this article on the web")

To delete articles mark one or more of them and click on the red cross item in the toolbar. A consent prompt, which has to be confirmed, appears.
